Meet our happy franchisees

Having recently joined the First Class Accounts franchise network, I am impressed with the mentoring and coaching available.
I now have the freedom of running my own business, but at the same time I'm part of a national group of skilled small business owners, who I've found are welcoming and willing to share their advice at any time.
Rosemary Gray, Strathpine, QLD

I recently signed on for my third contract term; this in itself is testament to the positive experience I have had as a First Class Accounts franchisee over this extended period of time.

We have been with First Class Accounts since 2005 and had no hesitation in renewing our contract for a further five years last November.
Our tenure with First Class Accounts has seen us form lasting personal and professional relationships with this great bunch of franchisees, and give us the confidence to run our business to meet our personal and business goals.
Charmaine and Tony Perry, The Entrance, NSW

Being a part of the First Class Accounts network has given me the confidence to be more than just a bookkeeper.
Clients respect my professionalism and value my work. I, in turn, benefit from the professionalism and team spirit of both my peers and the National Office.
Q & A with two of our more recent additions
Name & Franchise Territory: Geoff Hunt, Oxley - QLD
Prior to joining: I was Senior Treasury Analyst, Queensland Treasury. In total I spent over 16 years as a public servant for both State and Federal governments in various Treasury/Finance roles.
Reasons for joining: I was looking for a way to establish my own business in a way where I was supported to succeed by experience business people. I was drawn to FCA by the TV advertising campaign, high name recognition and a very professional and helpful National Office team.
Business goals: My goal is to grow my business to the point where I employ 5 fulltime bookkeepers and have a shop-front presence within 5 years of establishment.
Has the training and support form National Office and fellow franchisees met your expectations: Yes, to the extent that I had expectations. But having been an employee with no prior business experience, it has been a very steep learning curve for me, but I've loved every minute of it!
Advice for anyone looking to join our network: Be prepared for a slow start, but the business will grow; just give it time and 100% effort. Expect to take 12 months before you start generating any profit.
Name & Franchise Territory: Maturin Piyakhun, North Ryde - QLD

Reasons for joining: I wanted to have a business that aligned with my family life, challenge me and I wanted to be my own boss!
Business goals: Create a small practice with a few staff working for me.
Has the training and support form National Office and fellow franchisees met your expectations: Training was comprehensive and useful. Support from National Office staff and my fellow franchisees is even more valuable. Overall I am happy.
