Our Story
In early 2005, we became a First Class Accounts franchisee. We were in search of a flexible working lifestyle so that we could spend time with our young son. Solid accounting skills, wide-ranging prior industry experience and the desire to assist small businesses formed the foundations of our business.
Over the years, we invested in learning about our clients and the small business sector in Queensland. We recognise and understand the everyday struggles and challenges faced by small business. These challenges provide us with motivation to learn new skills and find tools that can solve problems. Recently, we added coaching and mentoring to our skills portfolio.
Our purpose (“why”) is no longer to guide a toddler become the best adult he could be. Our son is established in his career as an Occupational Therapist.
Our mission now is to lead small businesses “Towards Growth” and empower them to use management accounting tools to progress their businesses. We plan to achieve this via mentoring, training and strategic bookkeeping. We would love to see small businesses embrace management accounting tools and use them to grow their business.
In our free time we love to travel, listen to country music, dance, walk and read.
